TACA's New TCCI
Classes Begin in April
The first offering of Course 201
will be June 16-17 at the SPCA of Texas in Dallas. The
registration form can be found at the following link (PDF)
and space is limited so it is recommended that interested
candidates apply for attendance as soon as possible. This
course will be 8-5 each day and will focus on
investigations, legal aspects, search warrants, writing
reports, affidavits, and warrants, and courtroom procedures.
You do not have to take the three courses in any particular
order to become a Texas Certified Cruelty Investigator so if
you missed Course 101 in April, you can still attend this
course. Please note that Course 201 is not required for
certified peace officers to become Texas Certified Cruelty
Investigators. If you have any questions, please contact us
at TACACruelty@att.net.

Start thinking now for nominations for 2012 TACA Awards.
Vice-President
Dave Blackwell is the Awards Chairman this year.
TACA has many awards that are presented at the annual
conference each year. Unfortunately no
one is nominated for several of the awards and TACA knows
that there is deserving individuals and organizations that
just need to be nominated
for these awards.
